i'm currently 5 minutes into this video. so far it is totally unlistenable nonsense.

Hey LUDD ....check out parts 2-7 then for "easier" beats n melodies....

its not the beats and melodies that are the problem

when you play 2 records at the same time, out of time, it is not mixing.

i did soldier on the other day to see if your "mixing" improved anywhere but the whole thing is just a mess.

you may as well play all the featured tracks at once so people can listen to the whole thing in 5 minutes

hmm...

Sure for a few tracks there's a bit of conflict but I'm influenced by certain mixing styles that don't try to beat-match to pefection but rather go-with-the-flow and ...mood-match.. more than anything...

Example.... AFX himself often mismatches.... DJ aura and DJ ned from Warp have fantastic mixes out there with noisey crunched-together beats too. So does early clark... I enjoy lo-fi, cross-purposes and sometimes slightly head-wrecky stuff. Beleive me its not random and I selected the tracks and timings over lots of trial and error. The second track.... "my fucking sound"..is inherently messed up and thats what i love about it! There's a sort of joke in the title of my mix too.. which explains the style a little.

ha ha that got up a lot of noses!

I love it when the pushers uses "squarepusher" in his tracks.. so i modified one to include it ... and all i had to do was modify a word with the same amount of syllables. Plus the context of the song allows the change to make sense lyrically.

Respect the coathanger or.. respect the squarepusher? Can't see what the big deal is! Plus it was an excerside in technical audio-maniplulation for me gievn nothing but "audacity"...... pun intended.

It needs a "Mucking Fixup"

Take another listen... been REALLLY enjoying this lately... soem kick ass moments in here...(mostly after the first few tracks when I got my groove)
