this time last year Man City were knocked out @ the quarter final stage, at home in the second leg. The tension was ridiculous, and City hit the bloody post twice as well as having Richard Dunne sent off.

They really arent, relatively, theyre playing well above themselves, with arguably the best manager in the country. Before Hodgson they were battling relegation every year. Mid table and a European final is an immense achievement for a club the size of Fulham.

Can someone simply explain to me what's going on at Liverpool. I've been trying to follow, but I've got confused.

Liverpool are in debt to RBS.

Liverpool almost got bought out by NESV.

The American board members that no-one likes tried to stop the sale because they said there wasn't enough support or proper procedure for it. They even tried to change the hierarchy of the business on the morning of the proposed deal.

They go to court and the British judge says the sale can happen.

American board members make a case in Dallas and the judge puts the British court-trial on a suspension.

Now there's another company offering to pay off the debt in a separate deal?

I don't care anymore, this is the most boring football story I've read in ages. Can Liverpool just get docked some points, already? C'mon.

I thought RBS were going to recall the loan today, putting the club into administration and incurring league penalties.

That's more or less it. We were never going to get docked points really because despite what sky would love to believe, we had a legally binding agreement with NESV, so this was only ever going to go the exact way it has. All this messing around has been the previous owners trying to frustrate.

Reeeally not sure about Hodgson though, a mediocre manager if there ever was one. Maybe us sucking major balls could be a good thing in order to get some changes made sooner. I'm not one for getting rid of managers on a whim but i didn't think he was at the level needed in the first place so it's not really a whim.

I'm just saying leeds had a fall from grace. theyre doing alright now, and i have nothing against them anymore, since a leeds fan apologized for 1990. but saying liverpool should do a Oxford, no one would know what i was on about.
