Why the hate for the end of Silverside?

I want answers, and I want them NOW.

I never got past the place with the chickens and don't remember the music in the game at all, so I never made that connection. If I were to say any song on Amber sounded straight out of a videogame it would be Slip honestly.

The mask idea in the latter was awesome. Just a tad stressful with the time limit thang.

alright straight up the end of silverside is awesome just like the whole track. It wouldn't really be silverside without that ending. I've always found it reminds me alot of the music from the original fallout for pc

that's cuz the composer for fallout 1&2 is a huge fan of teh IDMz.

I don't understand either, I've always found Autechres use of strings pretty tasteful. Much enjoy the darkness of Silverside.

I've got no problem with it. It's very pretty.

This track was a pretty big target for the haters who compared Amber to "video game music". I can see how someone could make the connection, but honestly, how is it a bad thing?

A contender for their worst track

I'm a hater. The strings sound boring and cheesy to me. It's my least favorite Autechre track and I almost always skip it.
