Yeah that Monolith track is tops, whoever's behind it has some serious musical/production chops and I kind of prefer what I've heard of it to it's immediate influences. I'm still suspicious that it's some previously unheard of producer, the Steinvord thing was a more obvious viral plant but I can't help feel this is similar. Wisp and EOD have put out 100s of free and amazing releases before being 'noticed' by people beyond the message boards, even Syntheme/Goon/Whatever spammed loads of tracks to gain exposure, and all the Monolith hype's come from a couple of bare bones myspace pages. Maybe I missed something?

But I guess there's truth to the adage that when the music's that good it speaks for itself...

Same. It's not that I'm lazy, it's that some of the tracks are blended into each other in a way that makes it difficult to understand when one track ends and the next begins.
