I know exactly what you are talking about except for me, distended koch snowflakes seem to map themselves on to treelines and organize the already fractal patterns of branches against a skyline.

my box lacks the juice to do much zooming :(

this thing is munching a 3ghz processor and 3gb ram for breakfast - i tried to install the 64-bit and it gave me an error basically laughing at my crappy integrated ATI gpu. see it's a pixelbender plugin for adobe CS4 and it's supposed to offload to the GPU but it can't. so it's raping the poor cpu instead.

(also, there are two plugins, mandelbulb and mandelbulbquick. all my renders so far are mandelbulbquick
