the first track is probably his best, that ep, silent state, is really fantastic. its also worth checking out his dub techno exploration cd, but his stuff is really 50/50 i find. a lot of his eps will have a collection of these really fantastic sounding 6 second loops which you just want to be full tracks, very frustrating. you can buy all his stuff on vinyl/mp3/cd of is website, he even burns eps onto cd for you if it says vinyl only!

I also have a big taste for housier stuff

...which reminds me how much I miss summer time!

i was digging the subzero track you posted.

someone mentioned monolake, plastikman, villalobos already... probably most similar stuff to your examples, i listen to.

Minimal/Tech House/ Deep House etc etc etc is really hit and miss for me. But I know there are people here with good taste and enough knowledge to pass on more than what we already have here. Regardless this thread has already produced some crackers for my sets.

Thanks

I love Dial, they really released great deep techno in the last years, and this bliss from Pantha Du Prince is one of the best albums!

Lawrence is pretty good as well (also as Sten), his tracks "Along the Wire" and "Deep Summer Hole" stay at the top of my record pile!

Dial have actually launched a new quality deep house sub-label called Laid, definitely to keep an eye on!
