Naw..I was hoping for a lot more in the vein of that first page. But it's just sort of a humdrum mini-ethnography of porn culture.

Interesting read, reminded me of how different the Porn episode by Louis Theroux was compared to this, how times and porn have changed since the late nineties.

There was a production company Louis interviewed called Evil Angel or something like that. Back then that was cutting edge hardcore. Nowadays it would fall into the category of soft/average.

Amazing how porn, like music and film in general, seems to mirror current streams of society.

interesting topic, but from a journalist's point of view, the article kind of sucked. The article desperately needed an interview with the the girl from the first page, one of the male performers, one of the producers, fucking anyone connected to that stuff to get their reasoning on why it's ok to physically and emotionally degrade a woman until she breaks down crying.
