it's one of those holidays where americans act like they have an important history

but today is a good day. food is in one hour and i'm quite looking forward to it. cider is about the only drink i enjoy hot

can't think of any extraordinary thanksgiving memories....

Also, the actual thanksgiving has nothing to do with stealing the land from Indians. It has to do with being thankful for living through a harsh winter and the cooperation that it takes. They happened to be friends with the indians at Plimoth. All white settlers don't make the lot right? Isn't that racist? Of course, all holidays are kind of silly I guess

i stayed up all night and slept till 4, i ate while everyone was in their post-eat, sleep where-you-sit phase.

i concocted a few turkey, stuffing, gravy, mashed potato, cranberry, and green bean stuff dinner rolls.

i'm ready for sleep an hour after waking up

Political correctness is really getting to me. I actually think I hate it.

Especially the feeling guilty about the past part. Everything about the past is sickening, narrow minded, barbaric, primitive, racist. Where do we begin? We are still doing it too, but if the past is anything to indicate we won't know it until we are out of it.

Thanksgiving is a excuse for americans to eat food, drink beer and watch football. The original point of the holiday was that it celebrated a supposed feast that the pilgrims had with some Indians, but I'm fairly certain that the pilgrims were too busy giving the Indians smallpox and stealing their food and land to care about eating with them. So thanksgiving is really a celebration of the systematic ethnic cleansing of an entire race. God bless america.
