The 00s Decade is Almost Over...

Culturally its been the best decade yet, but thats the nature of media.

Me, I just got old and im left with more questions than can ever be answered, but trying to catch up is really good for pub quizzes.

entirely disagree with you there, your life from early teenagehood for the next ten years defines who you really are. being forced to work and earn your own money to live is just an unpleasant side-effect of later life, and doesnt really change your actual personality, which is, to me, what people actually are.

Wait.What do you mean by personality? My personality hasn't changed since I was old enough to have one, I've always been hot tempered, arrogant, and stubborn (which is a shitty combination) but I do have some geniality in me as well.

really? i changed a huge amount beginning aged 11-12, and started becoming the person i am now.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. Musically it's been pretty meh for me. No big revelations.

Well...I was thinking stupid luxurious gadgets and stuff. Everybody can get himself a radio od cellphone or tv I think, those things were gold a few decades ago. Still, those same people that may own several pc's or whatever (that they got still working from trash) still cant get decent clothing, food and especially medical support. I was actually trying to point to how things get a very different in time.

It started better than it ended.

I dunno I grew up in this shit, it's hard to put in perspective. But I basically spent most of it longing for the 80's, then the 60's, the 70's and finally the 90's

Yeah, my decade was awful . Basically fought to save my poverty stricken parents while they saved me. Got depression,. Got older. lost my hair. Hopefully a better person, still kind of lost

thanks all, yes it was the sweaty nut kind.

The 90s represented my youth so I'll always look upon it favorably. However, 00s politics: 9/11, invasion of two countries and the increase in terrorism that arose from that, islamophobia and then, thankfully, obama. Music: I stopped listening to popular music and it's no longer aimed at me so meh, although there was drukqs and analord. The proliferation of the internet was probably the best thing about the 00s.
