QBLA
the orb - montagne d'or (der gute berg): view basically pans a desert landscape that eventually becomes a grassy field then stops at a tree, then around 4:30 into the track, the view pans up the tree. the tree seems to be infinite as the panning goes through the different ~sphere layers. then the barks start to peel off revealing metal underneath. then around 8:10ish, the barks completely fall off showing a huge ass spaceship that starts hovering and transforming then takes off at warp speed and when the track ends there's a huge ass bright light where the ship went into the far off distance... then at the beginning of the next track, the view pans down back to earth! autechre - surripere: (i was watching lots of anime at the time i first heard this track) there's a view of some dude's eye, profile wise and the view starts to pan out slowly. whenever the synth comes in the wind blows his hair. the background is night time sky and cloudy. the dude is wearing a black trenchcoat with the collar up. then then the "WIP WAP WIP" and stuttering bass hits, his trench coat comes off. he has a slender but buff build, but he has lots of robotic type legs that move to all the different percussions and banjoish sounds. while all this is happening, his upper body is completely still and his expression is stoic! aphex twin - acrid avid jam shread: basically a wheat field in sepia like tones with the wind blowing the wheat around in slow motion with different mechanical insects flying around in slow motion! aphex twin - icct hedral: the process of cloning taking place in fast motion. the thing that's getting cloned looks like a half human half praying mantis. it escapes when it's fully formed. flies around NYC through traffic. it's maker confronts him and takes him home! aphex twin - alberto balsam: (this one is actually a dream) the cast of friends dancing around in a white room during a photo shoot. posing and mugging for the camera. i actually woke up loling at that one. so so so many more! Guest dese manz hatin
When listening to Garden of Linmiri I always imagine myself to be at some crazy warehouse rave...at a port area or something, with that king of dark blue fog you sometimes get near the sea before the break of dawn everywhere. Roygbiv - walking a path that runs along a mid/low-mountain range with an outlook on a river below with rapids and waterfalls...but thats most likely nostalgia from my time spent in british columbia Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/51231-what-tunes-or-sounds-conjure-the-strongest-imagery-for-you/page/2/#findComment-1182590 Share on other sites
