I tried calling that number at the end of the apple juice commercial, and all I got was a Picard impersonator asking me what I was wearing and what makes me hot.

because it is made of archetypes to an extent few other shows are

 

about a year ago, sky stopped showing ST:TNG late at night.

i miss it - i used to like the faded colours and muted audio of the final, pre-digital generation of videotape (pron excepted).

 

you can see the same colour/sound thing with all sorts of reruns, but i secretly enjoy the 'juuuuust before everyone started using digital' ones the best.

you can see the same effect very noticably with 'friends', but in fairness who's still watching those five buckets of shit?

i think it really is the color palette that I enjoy you're right. and the dialog and acting is stiff but not horrible. big up tng

I imagine that everyone is just stiff in the future. Or everyone that joins the academy is a big nerd. It's actually quite believable.

Also, this video was featured on Celldweller's blog about four hours after you posted it, Klayton said he just about peed his pants. I'm thinking Bret of Blue Stahli might be lurking around here, since he's the one that showed him.

i've been watching that guys long ass reviews practically every night for the past 2 weeks to fall asleep to. I still haven't gotten through the Nemesis or Insurrection reviews. but they are damned funny. but also great ambient sleeping material.

 

Jandrew edits put up a bunch of new stuff in the past month, my favorite of which is this one with Captain Picard
