what would you bring to a potluck

wtf you people are extravagant. i just bought cranberry juice for a thanksgiving potluck i went to. didn't make no fancy dishes, goddamn.

I finally learned my mom's apple cake recipe, something I've enjoyed throughout my life, so next time I'm invited to a potluck I'm bringing that. I made one over Thanksgiving weekend and it turned out good.

I'm not. The last potluck I went to I brought a fun-size bag of Doritos. I'm dead serious, and the host ate them after somebody broke out the gas mask and mare-eh-hwanna.
