oddly, after 6 years of extremely heavy smoking, i quit weed and started sleeping more, not less. i would find myself sleeping for 14-15 hours at once no problem when i quit, i had to start setting my alarm even when i had nothing to get up for just so i didnt end up sleeping straight past sunset. i think i might have narcolepsy or something, im still struggling to sleep less than about 14 hours a day, il have 10 hours kip overnight and then feel like a 4 hour nap in the afternoon too. i do love sleeping though, so its not all bad.

horrible advice unless you want to replace a marijuana habit with a much more destructive drinking habit.

 

Last time I quit for a few months I had some issues sleeping the first week but it wasn't too bad. I did find that I drank a lot more after work which was bad. I find if it's between smoking and drinking I rather smoke since I can focus on complex tasks and function in general.

 

At this point I'm pretty happy with my level of smoking, moderation is the key to a positive/productive marijuana experience.

 

 

 

Don't be one of those "I'm gonna quit" every other week people.

i always thought the best way to quit a nasty habit is to replace it with another, especially something like alcohol.

Sounds about right

It has been three days so far and I have been working out and it helps keep it off my mind

I was slightly less tense today than usual so I think it is a short passing phase

I believe people are able to get off it easily only small amounts every so often

today is a week and while I'm still a sweaty jungle animal, I don't feel too bad, and my sleeps comes slightly easier. Dreams are still kicking my dick though. I had a dream last night involving my murder of Jack Nicholson, and an elaborate cover up involving throwing his corpse in a ditch on the side of the highway. No idea why my subconscious threw that at me.
