Yeah dunno what you guys are on about, Untilted is a fucking masterpiece. The only track on that album that doesn't seriously get me going is Fermium, but even that track is quite solid.

you clearly have not heard this song loud enough. that synth line that pokes into the background at 9-10 min gives me chills every time.

the ratio of the track lengths on the garbage EP corresponds to the numbers at the end of the track titles, its a percentage. Of course the excel graph is devoid of any information whatsoever that would lead to this discovery.

I have an even nerdier extension of an idea for this.

I'm thinking we should set up a series of polls where all the Ae fans here can vote to rate the tracks according to two attributes: Energy and Mood.

We will probably rate each track on a scale of 1-10, for energy 10 would be something breakneck speed like Acroyear2 or Ipacial Section, and 1 would be something like Subrange 6-36, or other ambient tracks.

Then for mood, 10 would be happy so a good example of a 10 would be slip, and 1 would be dark so Iera would be a good example of that.

Even though these are just rough estimates, I feel that if we get a poll going and average out the results then we should have a fairly good set of data that we could then plot on top of those bar graphs. After all is said and done we can compile the graphs into one long timeline.

We could even take it a step further and have members choose an album, take the final graph and artistically convert it to something that looks less like a graph and more like an artistic visualization of the album including the major elements of length, mood, and energy. Anyone else with me on this one?

Great spot by Bubba on the percentage times added to the end of each track on Garbage EP. We need more of this irrefutable evidence of Autechre thinking and not some 7 year old maths homework!
