8/10

Really enjoyed it. Got a lovely, contemplative vibe about it. I've not really delved into Mogwai but heard a few tracks recently and enjoyed them. Might have to indulge soon.

6.66/10 I liked vinyl crackle on the intro and the acoustic... then the electronics come in out of nowhere weirdly like an accident. I like some of the sounds in this, the middle eastern scale always pulls me in put the industrial sound kinda immature to me personally.

It kinda does, yeah. It was good but didn't quite click with me, I don't like the score-rating, but yeah ... dunno 6/10 maybe.

Dreamed about this today - if you understand German this will fuck you up - otherwise I don't know:

With my limited knowledge of the genre, I'd say the build-up reminds me a bit of Godspeed, but once the voice kicks in, it's quite different. Again, it's silly to rate, 8/10.

Just making this post to tell you which Neubauten-Stuff you should look into:

^From the album "Halber Mensch" (Half Man) - pretty straight forward insane stuff from the 80's, back in their "darker days".

Later releases are also great, but a little tamer. I particularly like "Perpetuum Mobile".

^This one is from "Silence Is Sexy" which is also good.

Their style is incredibly versatile yet they don't really have any miss-album imo. They even got one on which they read out their own version of Goethe's Faust accompanied by the sounds of them smashing a stage, creative lunatics is what they are. If it wasn't for them, I'd probably not be posting on this board in the first place (my nickname is also kind of related to them).

(rate which ever one you like, or don't rate my post at all)

In all honesty the only brodrone I listened to was Stars of the Lid but this was really nice, I was especially fond of these parts somewhere around 1:40 where the bass was sort of fluctuating

I dunno if that was on purpose but I liked it because I'm just that kind of bro

SEX IS BAD BRO

This song has a lot of bad youtube interference at least I think there is I'm listening using really high quality bass earbuds sound-blocking too so I could be having the wrong judgments bro but for some reason I LIKE the youtube static it adds to it at certain points

plus there's this part around uhh 3:07 where this glitchy little voice gets added in in the background

I LOVE THAT

FUCKING GREAT

10/10 because I don't really see any way they could have improved upon that. Musicianship is top notch and the progression is quite unusual for the genre, one of the best ska tunes I've ever heard.

I don't ordinarily listen to music while internetting, but I decided to go youtube music diving just so I'd have something to contribute to this thread. This was my last and favorite discovery:
