Wisp is sick with it.

I'm working on liking this album as much as his previous releases but I'm having a mental block. I had a mental block with Confield too and now it's probably my favourite Autechre release so here's hoping.

This album is sickeningly happy with a lot less drum wankery than usual for Wisp, heavy use of pads, a hell of a lot of dynamic range, a dash of playfullness, and plenty of breathers. One minute I'm rocking out, next minute I'm being put to sleep in true lullaby fashion; often within the same track.
