Ooo, good observation. I loved Req. I think it's officially okay to like Req *and* Babe Rainbow though. With that kind of Johnny Cum Lately attitude, you'll turn into the music equivalent of a Daily Mail reader: "it was better in the 1950s when you could leave your doors unlocked and your daughters on railway tracks, ah Bisto, those were the days, etc etc."

It might be easier to like Babe Rainbow if he didn't come across as such a wack-ass hipster douchebag in those shitty vimeos troon linked. And then to rip off Req and re-edit witchcraft films from the 1920's? Anyone on this forum could do that (including guys like joshier and hathat). It's hard to take the clit's trolling seriously though, it's so cartoonish. In fact, for the internet, I'd say it's downright good natured.

personally i like the simple style of Babes video's and look forward to seeing

how his whole world evolves and matures. his music's and vid's have a dark and

emotional quality mixed with meaning within meaning. i have been searching for

something to satisfy after my initial Burial lustings. i like what

listening to Babes music's and watching his vid's makes

me contemplate. i am attracted to Babe Rainbows compositions as theme

music to this grand mystery we all think we are so familiar with on

the outside, but indeed which most of us know nothing about.

i am constantly searching for those things which fit together.

i am hopeful that Babe Rainbow will continue to prove himself as being one of them.

I'd say this is ok, a little bit long maybe. Better than most of the yahoos Warp has been digging up lately. I'd be interested to hear some of his other tracks. I must say that I hate the artist name Babe Rainbow though- a little too ironic hipsterish...

Wait...so sample-based music is wank, too? Some is, of course, but the concept of using samples and creating something new is wank?

Just checking this out now. Very mellow, not really inspiring much of a reaction in favor or against. I'd have to hear more, could be interesting.
