LOLZ, ketamine autechre

I'd say this is ok, a little bit long maybe. Better than most of the yahoos Warp has been digging up lately. I'd be interested to hear some of his other tracks. I must say that I hate the artist name Babe Rainbow though- a little too ironic hipsterish...

now i am going to agree with you on the name bit, babe rainbow is kinda a shit name.

it barely works enough for me to not be riddled and ruled by it every time i see it (which is good).

i was trying to think of a few projects that i like that have shit names

...which then made me realize just how much of a shit name babe is.

what about anything in front of rainbow instead of babe, anything would work.

black rainbow

bent rainbow

burnt rainbow

stained rainbow

inflamed rainbow

maimed rainbow

tamed rainbow

rearranged rainbow

getting back to the point though, this boy is

going to surprise us. i think that he's just getting started.

(maybe hill change his name mid way like clark did)

'rainbow'

i think i like that better

I think both parts of the name should be changed. Or mixed. Bainrow. Barebow. Babrow. Wobrain. Naibrow. I dunno. It's shit.

LOL Wobrain

I dig the track, but i am stuck with this feeling that shackleton does this sort of thing better

not quite comparable yet.....

i'm hoping that rainbow will become that good eventually, maybe with a proper full length

in the future ....three or four tracks on Shaved are pretty fucking good though, i have to say.

i was alittle disapointed with the 'screwby' track, but the rest have been quite pleasing to me.

(oh also..the DOOM remix was a fail it's seems to me, lack of cohesion between the beat and the flow.)

At first I thought it might be good but it didn't go anywhere. Slightly pointless.

I listened to the sound clips on Amazon (all tracks, versus Boomkat's 3) and there wasn't much to go on, but I'll still give it a try soon.

i'm really liking the tracks... Care, Tummy Sticks, Celebrate and Popcommon the most.

it's really good to finally hear the proper release.

a solid beginning for Babe overall, even though there are a couple of weak tracks

i would say this EP is a win.
