First sober Christmas

d'you know what? I'm fucking fed up of drinking. I've been feeling like it for a while....did drink yesterday, but it didn't enhance my day one bit and actually detracted from it if anything...in the end I was refusing more booze (everone else was drinking and thought I was weird) and just drank tea instead. I'm seriously considering knocking alcohol on the head. I don't like it any more! still love my weed though....

I stayed completely and utterly sober AND paid a fuckload of money to Rephlex, so that was all good. Now not been pissed in nearly a month, last time I did I seemed to have got twatted in the face without remembering a thing about it. Six stitches and a painful chest made it easy to stay straight yesterday.

Nowt wrong with that dude. I had the same feeling a few months ago, I just need to stick with it permanently.

My theory is that it would probably be much better for folks to have a constant, albeit mild, mushroom high. Instead of getting dead drunk on weekends.

In creating an monumental event of visceral social nature:alcohol can often be required to fully bring the house down. I just wish everyone had the ability to moderate their usage of mind altering substance's for the good of the incremental global party/protest.

How the fuck do people ever suggest shrooms over acid as the necessary hallucinogenic to better mankind?

I always seem to gorge too much food to even be able to get drunk around Christmas. I prefer being drunk in the summer actually, beach sun etc.

Unfortunately alcoholism is a mental illness, and moderation is impossible.

BUT only another alcoholic or a professional truly understands how it works so I can understand why you would say this.

I wish that also, and I wish I didn't kick off the physical craving everytime I had one, then I could be a social drinker, alas my illness prevents it form being so :(.
