Most of the toilets I use don't really allow for your legs to be in the position, there is a toilet brush and some cleaner and spare toilet roll down the side. I think the essence of AC Slater, and hence his toilet method, is dominance of the chair/toilet, you'll notice the reason he sits like that is not because the chair is already positioned like that, in fact he swings it around with a flourish and leans right in to it as if it is necessary so as to restrain him from dominating everyone else in the room. I reject the ease of access hypothesis.

how did the little guy get to see your junk if you're facing the wall? did you lean back, twist round and present him with it?

it's a funny story whatever, i'm imagining auntie in law having a hard time getting junior to shit traditionally ever again.

when i lived in a shared house my mate walked in on another mate who was shitting in a sideways stance, thus solving the mystery of how there was always shit stains up the side of the bowl.
