i agree that this racialisation of different types of food is bullshit, but really, this is the fault of american culture. no other group of people stereotypes itself so well, and bitches about it after and cries racism. if i eat fried chicken, drink malt liquor with it, and have watermelon for dessert, does that make me a wigger? well my favorite food is "sushi" so i guess i'm wapanese?

we need to let off a little bit and just be able to appreciate ethnic dishes without moaning about it. and as lumpemprol i think said in another thread, asian people (i can vouch for japanese anyway) fucking love fried chicken.
