i feel like im in the future when i see stuff like the kardashians tv show, or the jersey shore tv show. invented music personalites like lady gaga. i always thought the future would be shitty and it would be a downward spiral of humanity. and here it is. when i wake up in the morning and see that kind of shit, my brain says welcome to the future.

 

i hate this shit. Since when has a handful of tv channels become the epitome of human accomplishment? Are you guys really so jaded that you let one aspect of american mainstream culture totally dominate your view of the entire world in one of the most incredible and definitive times to be alive. It absolutely blows my mind that people even watch this bullshit TV at all when they have so many other options.

unfortunately, these are the things that shape the world today.

the environment in which you make every decision is influenced by policy decisions at the highest level and you have no control over this at all.

Alright well lets just continue deluding ourselves, fucking around on the internet in a drunken stupor pretending the government is responsible for all our problems and wait for everything to magically get better, but then complain and pretend the entire worlds going to shit when it doesnt.

all i know is that i gave nearly three years of my time to a faceless soulless corporate entity only to be told the whole deal is moving to cairo because it's 50% cheaper.

it's hard to be objective in that sort of situation.

for those in situations like kaini's, i am truly sorry that it had to turn out like it did and i don't mean to downplay your hardships at all if you've truly been having a bad time as of late. - the fact that current fashion trends actually turned out the way back to the future predicted
