it's a decent track, but it's no Kobresia.

백호야~~~항상에 사랑할거예요.나의 아들.

Shout outs to the saracens, musulmen and celestials.

Yeah, Sphere of No-Form is excellent, but for some reason Hyperborea always gets to me - gotta love the Major Briggs dialog.

But my all-time favorite Biosphere track is Silene, the way the main chord progression repeatedly shifts from minor to major is brilliant - for me it creates a feeling of rising out of a dark, grey cavern and coming up to the surface where the sun is shinning with vast green fields, etc, etc.

don't think i've ever not listened to the album from start to finish, so i don't think i have a fav individual track. wonderful from start to finish though.

the things i tell you will not be wrong...

This is an absolute masterpiece

everything about it is great

the mood, the atmosphere and the deep drones.

Lots of things appear into my imagination when I hear this.

Does anyone else think this song is exceptional?

this leading into silene may be my favorite combination of tracks on any album, ever. when that chime happens a little over three minutes into the track and it opens up into this widescreen ambient looping track, that's bliss. then the slide into silene and it's oppressive atmosphere is brilliant. that track always reminds me of being in a city during the summer, when there's kind of an electricity in the air before it gets dark out.

Same. I discussed with zaphod about those 2 tracks and we totally agreed.

I have um, like, this friend right, and he's never really heard biosphere and wants to know what album he should start with. what should I tell him?

so? substrata is probably geir jensens best album, although the others aren't too bad. dropsonde is great too.

the biggest illusion is yourself

I've decided that "Too Fragile to Walk On" is Biosphere's most absolutely, perfectly crafted song. I can't imagine any other song that I could listen to on repeat for hours at a time.

I really do wish he'd come to America, but he wrote that he was tired of travelling or that he really didn't care for it.

I can see him not wanting to come to America, but I think he doesn't like traveling in general.

"There will be no more Biosphere concerts in 2008.

I am tired of flying. I hate airports, security checks, unhealthy food, air conditioning, hotels, etc.

Back to nature!"

ive always loved biosphere, but now this man is my idol.

Everything since Patashnik has been next level, except for Autour De La Lune imo. As for new stuff, he told me last year (messaged him on facebook, haha) that he hoped to release his latest album this past winter. Hopefully it comes out soon.

It sounds very Autour De La Lune-ish =/. I don't like my tunes that austere. His live album that was released last year is great though. It has some pretty interesting reworks of Dropsonde and Cirque tracks.

I really like this album so far. In The Things I Tell You, the synthy part after the sample at around 3:00 is awesome.
