sounds more like cheesy detective music than madness to me. Inspector Calamari and his nightly ventures. Raise a glass of wine, Maria Antonia. The dogs are barking and this detective is about to solve some crime up in this bitch.

not sure this is exactly ambient but it is blissfully peaceful.

 

Perhaps more collage field recording than ambient, but still relaxing. Like an ancient artefact found in a gas station 200 years after a nuclear meltdown
