ah, no we don't need to do that, see i am going to adjust this filter occasionally and bring these other 3 2-bar patterns in and out so that should be plenty of variance.

nope, i really think we're covered with these 4 patterns just as they are, and this one knob. see they won't all play at the same time, and we can build them up, break them back down and then if that gets boring, well we have the knob.

This is basically 99% of all french house, I don't see the problem really.

Saying this last album was more minimal than their earlier stuff, have you all not heard their work on crydamoure? Very minimal and very nice.

Just for the record, I'm not even defending Daft Punk as much of defending the fundamentals of their music. I'm especially not defending the tron movie.
