I have the old Ultavisitor/London Symphony thing poster in my room (the one where it's just tom looking at you) and my g/f was like "that guy is looking at me" I just said, "Ya, that's Tom. He watches over us while we sleep." lol

On a similar subject one guy I knew who only recently discovered Aphex Twin kept calling him Alphex Twin... with an L in there for some reason. I think I politely corrected him but he kept saying it like that so then I would sort of make a point to say it properly, but it was a bit awkward...like

"so I got Windowlicker by Alphex twin"

"yeah that's a pretty good APHEX TWIN song, I like some APHEX TWIN"

"cool, so what other Alphex Twin would you recommend?"

I hate that. I wonder if its a pride thing, where its like they just don't want to seem defeated and so they will continue for the rest of the encounter and then change it afterwards.

it's not even that interesting when people like aphex twin. that's the underground electronic artist that EVERYONE likes. and yea, windowlicker is cool. but if they said something like meltphace or carn marth i'd be a little more impressed

Where I live it's pretty common for people for to substitute "them" for him or her. Jus' sayin'...

Besides, he's practically a full band embodied within a single person.
