it looks like they took away the ability to use the step numbers as a keyboard for the synth parts. didn't hear a single melody in any of those presets. still looks fun to mess around with though, especially with all of the automation

Just picked up that iElectribe app for $9.99. Pretty amazing, especially when I compare it with noodling with the real device @ $500.

I wonder how many other pieces of music kit will start to show up as virtual iPad app versions? The showing for launch week is already pretty impressive.

iMachinedrum, plz?

Next time i'm stuck on a plane or in an airport, I look forward to spend my time normally wasted on Sky magazine crossword puzzles on actually being creative/productive.

still not sold on the usefulness of having a Lemur, seems like it would be really fun to use but for productive music making i cant really see it

Just picke up an ipad yesterday... Got the ielectribe, and I already have touchosc.

Ielectribe is lots of fun. I didn't have time last night to setup the touchosc, but I opened up a template I had designed in the editor, and it looked an responded fantastically! 16 channels of volume, 2 sends, on/off, record enable, solo, track select.... All comfortably fit onto one page.

A well thought out setup (you get 10 pages) can control every aspect of tour session. I have a virus ti, and 2 nord modular g2s, and now I can setup templates so I can access all the needed paramatera in one place, as well as trigger clips and effects etc. Fucking awesome! I can tell it's going to change my entire approach
