this looks like a good place to start. i'd say fenix funk 5. it might even be my favorite RDJ track period.

So hard to choose now, I expect I'll know in 10 years or so. I've kept switching since they came out. Xmd 5a winning all time favourite at the moment but you never know... I did manage to over-listen =(

It's not my fave but Analord 158b is often overlooked...

I do. It's my favourite.

And mine. And also my other half loves this now, he's never been interested in the series but asked me to stick a record on the other week so I chose this. He keeps asking me to play it again now.

Guess it's coming up on four years now since the emails went out from Rephlex that the binders are on the way. Then ordering a new set of vinyls every few weeks. Time flies eh?

After careful consideration (3+ years) I've decided to rank my favorites. It's hard to decide. They've all grown on me.

Best Overall Analord: Analord 2

4 very smooth tracks best described as wasting no time or effort getting to the point. Seemed to be the most cohesive point of the Analord series. It's there to chill you out at the end of a hard day's night.

Best Moment: Bwoon Dub, at the ~3:45 stop and start to the end

The track stops abruptly and you can just ever so faintly hear the sound of other machines going (possibly working on other tracks as this track recorded out) then it gets DEEP. It's like waking up briefly in a dream then finishing it out under your own control.

Most Underrated Track: W32.Deadcode.A

Very playful melodies and rhythms. It's the analog Fingerbib.

Best Overall Track: VBS.Redlof.B

This one brings it all home. To me this feels like the "final act" of the series and it shows.
