The science geek in me says clearly it's this...

But I'm going to have to go with the whole Aphrodite's Child 666 album because a greek prog concept album about the Book of Revelations is possibly the most PROG thing I've ever heard.

YEAH!

bought this reissue a month or two ago but havent had a chance to listen yet.

Les Apocalyse Des Animaux is a really nice record too, my dad used to manage a bank in London in the early 80's and would be invited into the studio across the road in the evenings, so hes got a fair few Vangelis records, which i will have to make more of an effort to steal!

See You Later is good too, i need to listen to more of his work with John Anderson from Yes

I love Vangelis :)

...and of course, Aphrodite's Child - 666. Listen to this track all the way through.

3cd_soundtrack.jpg

i'm love this soundtrack.

CD2 of this collection contains so MANY pieces of haunting beauty that were missing on the old release but are essential.

i can't imagine anything without this OST anymore.

Might be a bit obvious choice. But whatever, so fucking amazing.

I picked up these Vangelis cassette tapes for a 25 cents each about a month ago: China, Invisible Connections, Direct, Chariots of Fire OST. Invisible Connections was far more minimal and experimental than I expected:

I saw Albedo 0.39 but I think forgot to grab it. I'm moving at the moment and I didn't see it in my cassette collection when I boxed it up. Hopefully its in there >_<
