Here's one I like a lot. The album has vocals that are actually pretty weak, but musically they are tight and this song is instrumental. Oh yeah and their name sucks, obviously.

Camel's 'Music Inspired By the Snow Goose' is mindblowingly fantastic, one of the best instrumental progressive rock albums you can dig up if you ask me.
