i wish i could have visited my family, but i couldn't get yesterday off work... no one could cover for me, so i brushed it off my shoulders and decided that i should be working instead of visiting family anyway, because i really need cash right now.

 

but check this out, we closed the store early, so i worked for 2 hours yesterday and helped roughly 5 customers. i could have just not shown up and the manager would have been cool with it because it was so damn slow... i made 12 bucks yesterday. i'm just glad i decided to walk instead of taking the subway, or else i'd have made 8 dollars.

 

and now, i'm sitting at home with a very empty stomach. not really all that sour about the whole thing, but i think now that i'm hungry, i'm starting to get a little pissed.
