I like being in touch wiv ma homies.

But facebook is the most poorly designed site. Everyones complaining about the new layout, but it was shit before too so who cares.

I don't think that many people use facebook for music. I mainly us it to get invitations to clubs and write stupid shit to my facebook friends..

I use it to follow gigs and artists but it sucks. I became a fan or joined the groups of over 200 of labels, artists, clubs etc. But everything gets dumped in some stupid news feed full of crap.

The new facebook has a good event calendar though.

the only group or page i have on facebook is watmm. all the rest of them seem pointless. i use facebook for talking to people or finding out about events. everything else is unnecessary.

The Black Dog have constant updates. Its kinda cool.

I don't see how you don't notice it, cymbals sound like shit on myspace lol. Myspace was better when you could use file2hd to download the original MP3, though even still warm sounding electronic music sounds far better than acoustic bands.

people always bang on about how facebook has replaced actual socialising, but i always think that the people who claim that don't have any (real) friends themselves. i've got friends all over the world and shit now thanks to uni, and i can't really get hold of them easily without farcebuch. it certainly has its uses.

i want farmville and all that shit to fuck off though

facebook tells me all of the nights, parties and gigs that are on as they happen. its fantastic.

Yeah I know what you mean, I know people who'll go through photos and see some random person they *might* have talked to, and just add them. These people have like 1000 friends. I feel like I have too many myself and really I'd like to just erase a bunch of people... I've done it before, but I guess I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings haha so I tend to not touch them anymore.

Werd, on both points, and what you said earlier. Good for keeping in touch with friends in different cities, and family in different countries. I hate talking on the phone so it's cool for me...get to keep up a bit without having to pick up the phone. It's kind of like the fun of a message board with people you don't know, but with people you DO know.

Fuck all that, it's true that's how a lot of young people use it though. That's the hot mess MySpace turned into...bleh.
