Some airlines (like AirFrance) are thinking about charging two seats for obese people. I think that's a good idea and everybody who had the opportunity to seat next to an obese person would support this measure.

Fat people should make themselves available as cushions to sleep on during long flights, that way everybody wins.

It'd be like having one of those fatboys on the airplane.

if he's so famous and rich why not book 2 seats or a whole row? i'm sure he managed to get the arm rests down but then everything would spill over into the poor bastards space next to him. there's so little room on a flight as it is, so to have a large proportion of that space taken up by someone else is too much to ask.

i've had to endure this on a long haul and i wanted to kill.

I read somewhere that it was becoming common amongst airlines to charge extremely fat people extra, just like to have to pay extra for excessively heavy baggage. But to go as far as ban them from flying, that's a bit too much. I'd rather sit next to a fatty than someone who stinks. Ban the stinkys instead I say! Besides, fattys are often so cheerful, always spreading good vibes on a plane.
