same. I have hours and hours of storms/thunders/rain sounds on my hdd that I recorded around my home

The sound of falling water gives me so much pleasure. I think its from when i was a child and before a 1 hour drive to school in the morning in my half awake/asleep daziness, I would turn the shower on really hot and just lie on the bathroom floor drifting in and out. Eco-warriors look away now.. I still do this if i need it, run a shower and just lay on the floor ( not the shower floor ) for like 20 minutes.

I was in Japan last february and stayed at a temple that would give you a cheap room as long as you went to 2 hour meditation sessions ( not something I had done before, and not something i will take up ). But we sat cross legged and they opened up these massive 300 wooden screens looking into the garden. It was raining heavily, but where we were sitting was warm and silent. One of the most beautiful moments ive had.

i often like waking up on a day off to rain...liek if i was partying the previous night and slept in until noon or so....so pleasantly dreary...
