I do the exact same thing! I think I even posted it in a thread some time looking for water-based albums. Never heard about anybody else doing this though...

You should give this a try, my fav meditation album, all of the tracks have some water-elements, some more than others. It's very deep ambient, not all positive, sometimes gets quite creepy in a way. I keep recommending this.

This is awesome, I'm listening to it with Infinite Snow off of Monolake's Silence.

i've been using this for about a month now to help me sleep. i suffer from tinnitus, and i cant tell if sleeping with this rain sound on is making it worse or not. listen to this with headphones on though, and you can hear all sorts of weird shit. at one part i swear i can hear some chanting or church choir, sometimes other weird shit.
