What's your prediction for BOC's next release?

Just curious what peoples' expectations are at this point. I know MDG has alluded to a forthcoming release from time to time, but it's been a long time since that's happened and we haven't heard a peep. What do you guys think?

i'm gonna be hopeful and say 2010...

I think BOC are done with new material.

i'm inclined to say 2010, but my better judgment says 2011. that'd be a nice graduation present!

I assume they will start when the oversteps hype is done

I know there's this guy who comes on here from time to time but, (no disrespect) it's pretty easy to claim oneself as someone with connections with the band when you're just a poster on an internet forum.

Not trying to dismiss anyone and maybe I'm wrong, but the only source I would ever put any faith in would be Warp Records.

he's a mod on twoism, and fred wouldn't do that unless mdg was legit.

hehe, indeed, and he's in a special control group over here too.. it's funny people just can't accept the fact that he's their spokesman on the internet. he corresponds (as in sends and receives mail) with a legit @hexagonsun.com mailing address. what more proof does one need?

I'll be happy when they release new material. But bocs gots to do what bocs got to do, I'm patient. Plus I've officially told myself that I'm expecting nothing. Expectation leads to dissapointment, what happens happens. If I love it, great. If I hate it... Well atleast they can't take the campfire headphase away from me.

Overstressed from trying to meet Dragon's ultimatum, Marcus died of heart attack.

There will be no new BOC album.

I find it odd some people on this board stating there will be no more boc output.

How could one possible think like this when proof has already been given lots of time in the last year by legit people. Yes it is delayed, but that does not mean it won't come out at all.

Can i be the first person in this thread to say Boctober 2010.

Please don't facepalm me, i've not got over my last one from mdg.

campfire headphase leaked, i didnt listen to it though as i had the album on pre-order and some nice weed put aside for the listening occasion.

Judging by the WHY? remix, it'll be world music influenced. Maybe? I think it'll be really cool.

It will be new material. It will have been worth the wait. It will come out this year.

Those are my thoughts on the matter.

I just got a message from a reliable source (I know, you've been trained not to trust those words) who says that BoC will definitely release new material in 2010. He says that they (and Plaid too) have been delayed for reasons beyond their control.

Looking forward to this.
