Snd digital re-releases

live sets will be hella cool! some of my favorite snd stuff is in the 2005 chicago set recording.

I still have the recording of SND's performance in 2005. It contains some material from 4,5,6 and I think I quite enjoyed the listen of that set. If any of you wants me to upload it, you're welcome.

according to mark fell they are only going to release the 3 lps (which are already out) - no explanation given. very sad.

Clarification: after exchanging emails with misters fell and deupree (of line records, who are doing the distribution end of the re-releases i think) i can confirm that the state of things is thus:

a) what was released last month digitally is all that will be out for now.

b) there is some talk about putting out the vinyl-only stuff and other rare/live/unreleased at some point, but nothing is set in stone

c) mark fell has an atticful of dats that it's a good thing i will never come in contact with, because my drool would likely degrade the music thereon.

so it sounds like maybe, at some point we may get the old/unheard snd out digitally, but we shouldn't hold our breath.

I wish this had come out originally... I don't feel justified in buying the slbum a 2nd time.

I'm really into Mark Fell's Ten Types of Elsewhere... very enjoyable, meditative record.

Just started listening to SND, wow it's really tasty!

Tender, cassette and atavism are all great

It's always good to discover something you missed out on. Heard one or two tracks beofre and thought it was a bit samey and boring, but it deserves another chance if you also though that, you may be converted like me.

I really need to buy Atavism, heard it for the first time yesterday and loved it straight away, but its so rare and expensive now, £25 plus on Discogs and Amazon Marketplace. Re-release please
