You can assert until the cows come home that you don’t find PR gimmicks or ARGs interesting, but this is something new – updating the game itself to lay its treasure trail, rather than relying on external websites or hype. Big budget games are generally considered static, fixed – this is making full advantage of what the internet can do when made intrinsic to a game.

Yeah, I just found out about this and am pretty happy. I still haven't played HL2 let alone Portal. I took a break from gaming after I finished the first Half Life and never looked back. . . but I won't be able to resist that shit once I can throw it on my MBP.

if they really are porting over the Half-Life engine games to the Macintosh, then firstly why the fuck couldn't they have done that when i had a Macintosh?! and secondly, prepare to lose some of your life - the games are great, Portal having knocked DOOM from my personal top-spot

Ive been playing this a lot of the last few days. I wanted to get all the achievements. But it seems getting the Aperture Science one is almost impossible.
