I dunno, even Incunabula sounds a bit dated for me most of the time. Something about their pre-Amber stuff that just lacks the same kind of sharpness and crispness that the sound design of later albums is so fraught with. That being said, I'm incredibly surprised at how fresh Amber still sounds given it being pretty damn close to 20 years old. Even Incunabula is still miles and miles ahead of other music from that generation, especially in terms of sound design. 100 years in the future you could probably put EP7 on and be utterly convinced it was released earlier that day.
