Guest Xenblake
I recall someone posting an image of relaxing, upwards floating smoke in connection with Krylon. It kind of made me like the track a bit more. Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/54033-krylon/page/2/#findComment-1673067 Share on other sites

It's that kind of abstraction-- it's not a disregard for the form-- you still totally, totally admire and respect what it is that you've got to work with-- and by that I mean traditional patterns that are recognizable to some extent. Actually one of their more literal titles. Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/54033-krylon/page/2/#findComment-1678267 Share on other sites
Guest Sprigg
I definitely have to be in the mood for this track, but I do like it. Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/54033-krylon/page/2/#findComment-1680837 Share on other sites
Salvatorin
This track gives me goosebumps. The soft synth brass sounding parts make me think of vangelis and wendy carlos. Actually one of their more literal titles. maybe it's the hip hoppy beats, but new gescom and 6852 ( think that's the title?) are way more analogous to wild style than oversteps. really tho, this is an oddly illuminating quote to me. shaun
Ok like plenty of others here this took time for me to realize it's beauty. For me it was one of the last tracks on the album to get into, but ended up turning out to be one of my favorite all time AE tracks... I mean it must of taken at least 20 listens for me to realize how complex the sound is. It's easy to define that it has a first part and a second, which gives me goosebumps when i hear that note that completely separates the track and gives it a completely different feel. The first half of the track has swinging melodies that seesaw in harmonious rhythm, (which kind of reminds me of the format of Altibzz... not so much the sound obviously), and is glittered with beautiful fragments of fractal sound that i just cant get enough of and i find myself being able to lose myself in some sort of meditative state of conciseness where my mind is completely drawn to every detail. I'm not afraid to say that i've been overwhelmed by the raw emotion of the sound to the point where it brings a tear to my eyes.... and before i know it boom! the note that completely changes the feel and draws me even deeper into a slow cascading buildup which has a certain repetition about it thats so subtle that it makes me reach to hear the slight evolution in that cascading repetition that climaxes with one of AE's most beautiful melodies IMO.... by this time i'm either thinking about how other people i know could hear it like i am, and feel a sense of sadness that they couldn't possibly fathom the beauty of it (i know that seems strange), or i'm filled with the slightest bit of sadness that i know the song will soon be over, but then i find a feeling of solace knowing that Yuop is yet to blow me away... again. and thats KrYlon summed up in a very small nutshell.... it's art at it's best, and i'm only 29 but this track is going to be played at my funeral Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/54033-krylon/page/2/#findComment-1684672 Share on other sites
lumpenprol
krylon makes me ejaculate. So I guess I'll be ejaculating at your funeral. Thanks Haha Confused Sad Facepalm Burger Farnsworth Big Brain Like × Quote Hide lumpenprol's signature Hide all signatures After this I listened to geogaddi and I didn't like it, I was quite vomitting at some tracks, I realized they were too crazy for my ears, they took too much acid to play music I stupidly thought (cliché of psyché music) But I knew this album was a kind of big forest where I just wasn't able to go inside. - lost cloud I was in US tjis summer, and eat in KFC. FUCK That's the worst thing i've ever eaten. The flesh simply doesn't cleave to the bones. Battery ferming. And then, foie gras is banned from NY state, because it's considered as ill-treat. IT'S NOT. KFC is tourist ill-treat. YOU POISONERS! Two hours after being to KFC, i stopped in a amsih little town barf all that KFC shit out. Nice work! So i hope this woman is not like kfc chicken, otherwise she'll be pulled to pieces. -organized confused project Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/54033-krylon/page/2/#findComment-1685360 Share on other sites
