i cut out ab5 and melodies from mars from the list, cuz they were never officially released

so? i mean, they're are still easily available and worth discussion no?

It's up to you guys, I rarely listen to AB5/MFM, but if we did include it, it would have to go somewhere between Weeks 6-8

lol i don't listen to them either but i was just being nit picky

so something like this would be best?

also, drukqs deserves it's own week imo

i really am not trolling i wanna do this but damn, too bad thehauntingsoul isnt an RDJ fan so he could organize... wait actually nvm lol bubba u doin fine we just have to iron it out. Some weeks are great and some seem way too packed, or at least too packed considering the awesomeness within (weeks 7&8 especially)

also i know CTD is short as is HAB and RDJ album but damn they all deserve more respect than a shared week. they are too epic.

so would everyone be ok with a couple of extra weeks? I do agree that some albums, esp HAB deserve more than to be pushed in with 3 other EPs

Hopefully this will revitalize this subforum, cause posts have been a little scarce since Oversteps mania began...but I guess I contributed to that

for me the new analords are kind of separated to the old ones as they fit exactly on one cd and thats the way I listen to them: as a new 1 CD album by afx

so I would prefer to talk about them separated from the old ones but it doesn't matter so much

I might actually follow along with this if I don't get too overwhelmed with homework. Hardly heard much from Aphex, what I've heard beside SAW/SAW2 I haven't really liked but this isn't a bad way to give the guy another chance I guess.

Not sure about the bonus analords breaking into another week, this thing would really begin to run for a long time. I think it's fine as it is

i think we will need to decide if we should spread the releases evenly, our divide his entire discog into era's. some era's will be much more dense than others, and that's because he was producing so much more.

the ventolin + remixes came out 13 days before ICBYD.

I think we will have to spread them out evenly. It's crazy to think to accurately listen and discuss ICBYD, Donkey Rhubarb, and Ventolin+Remixes together, cause that's just so dense for one week. As long as it's close to I Care, I don't mind Ventolin and the remixes being a week after. Those albums deserve a good listen, they're just too good to group together in a week

But anyway, open to recommendations but I think a 2-week era is just fine

haha agreed, but it should be interesting to listen to EKT, as I've never heard it all the way through *shrugs* He says that's one of the few albums he's made high, LSD if i remember the interview...
