I enjoy the fragility of the rolling lol tbh. The broken lol is like our own mortality staring us in the face, reminding us to enjoy that sunset.

its not even on discogs is it?

i want, especially for this "Northern Wilt"

i don't think he dropped any new tracks while he was in Australia. Although his Maximo Park remix was pretty fresh, and it went off.

i just want to throw my two cents in here. Clark fucking rules. I saw him at Warp 20. bad sound but still a good show. I will say that i have liked Totems Flare less every time i hear it though.(except outside plume) Body Riddle and Empty the Bones all the way!

whats the best pre-Body Riddle album?

i'm ashamed to say I've only heard the compression albums.

listen to both :cisfor:

I'd say ETBOY is the best

VLC (and I think WinAmp) can play m4a - all it is is MPEG 4 audio only.

Technically (not necessarily audibly) m4a is a much better container format than mp3

Clark is one of my favourite artists at the moment, there is not a record he's released that has been slightly sub par, in mine eye.

Totems Flare was probably (easily) in my top 5 albums of last year, it was certainly one of my most played.

The drop at 2:10ish in growls garden is like nothing I've ever heard.

And when super mario comes in after around 3 mins in Rainbow Voodoo.

Those are fairly insignificant points to those tracks in terms of their depth but their the most significant on first impressions.

The rest of the album is equally as good (if not more)!

Out of interest, I've only been listening to the likes of Clark over the past couple of years and if anyone can recommend me a similar artist with productions along the lines of Totems Flare, i'd be eternally grateful :)

anyone have a Clark live soundboard recording???

ive only heard bits and pieces of him playing live

thanks

Here's a re-up of a live Clark set someone posted a short while ago:

It's from 2004 so there's a fair share of ETBOY material but a lot of unreleased stuff too. I think it's a soundboard of decent quality but judge for yourself.
