I haven't listened to these guys, only heard the hype. This song is incredibly...decent.

Surf Solar is the only song I like by them

Their first album was great - their new album is also very good in my opinion.

I agree with many comments in this thread. The recent album is good but all the songs sound really similar. I don't like it as much as the first album.

I saw them opening for Mogwai a couple years ago and their live show wasn't as good as it had been hyped up to me. Needed to be a lot louder. Somewhat baffled as to how it wasn't louder considering Mogwai came on after and made ears bleed.

I know what you mean, but that's something I love even more about the album. Each song seems like an expanded idea as apposed to individually different songs.

I also looked at it that way too .

I've been on the fence for liking the album for it's consistent theme, or SLIGHTLY disliking it because of it .
