Guest Ron Manager
Some questionable first album purchases here... I Care Because You Do? Really? Anyways, as far as I can remember this was the first CD I ever bought: Although I had this when I was younger, presumably bought by my parents, its location is now sadly unknown: edit: mine was a CD not a 10" Edited March 14, 2010 by Ron Manager Quote Link to comment https://forum.watmm.com/topic/54291-your-first-album/page/2/#findComment-1269305 Share on other sites

The first album I bought myself was Nirvana, Nevermind. At least, I'm pretty sure it was. I remember letting my five year old cousin listen to the start of side B before I did, and she started laughing because of that mock parody of Everybody Get Together at the start of Territorial pissings. I was like "WTF why r u loling?" and she was like "it funny!" And I had to admit it kind of was, but in an angry kind of way. I really loved that album. J3FF3R00
I'm not sure what the first vinyl I bought was. It was probably The Pixies "Dig For Fire" 12" Maxi-single. Before MP3s, I spent years trying to collect all of their b-sides. About a year or two after I was just about finished, they released the CD collection of their B-Sides.
