i just hope people take into account not only what is most IDM, but what is most inspiring from a music-making point of view. For example, fibonacci sequence is undoubtedly idm, but it has already been exhausted by boc, whereas something like, say, David Lynch's hair, I would think would be a fun and stimulating mental image to work from.
