yea, the 106 is a beast, almost sold mine a couple times but retracted because of how massive it can sound. one of the ultimate bass synths.

you can get a lot of analogue gear for more sensible amounts of money if you search around on ebay and the like - things like the Oberheim Matrix racks, Roland HS-60, Roland Alpha Junos and Korg Poly800 can all be had for between £150 - £300.

^Definitely. I actually got an MS-10 cheaper than what I paid for the Microkorg I bought when I was 13. It's all a matter of looking.
