LEAST favorite aphex track?

Windowlicker. Nothing to do with anything other than that I find the track grates and I never got the appeal, even as a pop track. Even the video is boring after 20 seconds. And then a few minutes in, it's good for 20 seconds again.

Most of the analord stuff fails to grab me like earlier aphex,

druqs-meh! does have good trax on there, but overall he coulda done so much more.

Personally, I think Mummy Mix is wonderful and only ever skip Pappy mix on that EP. I know it's one of his biggest, but I think it ruins his back catalog.

These sort of threads are the same on every musician fan forum. Someone gives their least favourite track, at least three other people will start going on about how that track is brilliant & anyone who disagrees is an evil robot sent back in time to destroy happiness.

Back on topic: I also don't much care for some of the really old material (like the backing tracks on the early EPs), but they are nice to listen to in an inspiring "Aphex Twin wasn't that different than any other aspiring musician once" sort of way.

'Bonus High Frequency Sounds' isn't actually meant to be listened to anyway, it's a data track with an image in it.

Has Universal Indicator Green, track U2 (2:07) been mentioned yet?

Also, Ventolin is a really great track if you're in the right mood for it. It does what it does really well, creating an extreme atmosphere. Though the Wheeze Mix is better.
