Fred McGriff
Round 2 witnessed three spectacular one-point matches: the Fibonacci sequence started slow but scored most of its points at the end, ultimately stumping the Aspies' methodic, focused gameplan with a final buzzer beater; abandoned museums played a tight, no-frills game that came down to the wire and barely escaped gravity's nagging defense; Möbius Strip's attack proved too one-dimensional to get past the big-picture scheming of the Hubble telescope. All were excellent matches, but perhaps none were as stunning as girls and robots in the same photograph's domination over #1 seed ice water with ice. Will GARITSP be able to carry its momentum into the Sweet 16 matchup against infinity? Will the astoundingly epic matchup of two strong personalities in Carl Sagan and Ulillillia prove to be the "game of the century" as pundits have already been proclaiming? Will sleep deprivation have the time and patience to survive the Fibonacci sequence's powerful endgame? who will win between two similar styles of play in the factories at night - airport terminals matchup? if these matches are anything like last round's, then we will no doubt be at the edge of our seats once again! Round 3 starts now!! Guest analogue wings
Ulillillia is not due to wake from his scheduled nap for another 6.25 minutes. Meanwhile Sagan has got off to a roaring start - but will he expend all his energy in an intitial Big Bang? Root5
I voted for Ulillillia because Pale Blue Dot already exists as a tribute album for Carl Sagan. But that said, I haven't listed to it, and I assume it is shit, so I'd be happy to do a proper tribute album for Carl. Actually I'd be happy to crown most of these as IDM of the year. But please not the Fibonacci Sequence, the LHC, or airport terminals. Root5
I imagine a tribute album to infinite would sound like Left Blank by Autechre extended to 1 hour.
