I would've loved to see a showdown between Girls with Robots and Fractal broccoli for the top. Still not feeling the Jellyfish. So it's all Carl Sagan or nothing now.

Edit: Also yesterday I was thinking. Not communicating with your fanbase is indeed quite IDM. I tried to think of other genre's that have this issue, and I couldn't really. Even huge worldwide stars at least communicate via pres releases.

And it's funny too, b/c you know most of em browse WATMM. I guess their method of communicating is signing up for a WATMM troll account.

What happened to the good days when things like Deep Sea creatures won? I think we need to do more campaigning next year. *Starts committee for the election of Ulillillia*

Well... Apparently they didn't win at all. Apparently beards won, which is shocking and not how I remember it.

edit: also now that we know there'll be a tribute album on futonic i think people are voting for something that looks good on a cover, not what's really most idm

If so many people ever feel frustrated by this year's most idm winner, the cover art might interest more people, regardless of the title.

Sleep Deprivation caught Sagan napping.

Immortal Jellyfish gave Synaesthesia a colour of its own medicine.

Two Mirrors in front of each other tried to present LHC with a feedback loop but all it saw was more stuff to smash.

Factories At Night called in the union boys on Infinity.

i am... disappoint.
