the chicken thing i got at taco was good and i would definately go there for it again but london has tons of really good mexican restaurants. mexican food is already fucking junk anyway without degrading it further so taco was my least favourite but i imagine its pretty good when you're drunk or stoned.

outback was the best for me. i shared a blooming onion with 3 other people and it was still a huge deal to eat BEFORE your main meal. having said that, i ordered steak and nothing went to waste. proper stuffed.

for anyone lucky enough to have access to a red lobster i would recommend the shrimp and bacon wrapped scallops on the skewer with peach bourbon bbq sauce. amazing!!

man i haven't eaten fast food in years save for the occassional "im in the midst of a 5 hour road trip and im hungry as hell"...then its usually either wendy's or taco bell.

but yeah, chipotle is probably the best for fast food mexican....im sure fred and them are right that there are tons better, but really for a yokel like me, chipotle is often very superb.

oh , but i think everyone has a little place in their heart for outback....the bloomin onion is wonderful...but i gotta be in the right mood to eat there.

my bday is coming up and my grandparents want to have dinner with me, but the only problem is that my grandfather is a horrible racist/grumpy/indigestional man, so im either limited to italian (BORING) or outback....so im goin outback.

outback is a good solid cheap steak.

im glad you have some perspective then. we get fucked over for food here so bad. what i ate in red lobster was really nice plus twice the portion size im used to and at a decent price. here i would get a couple of year old frozen shrimp, microwaved then dipped in an asda basics sauce and be charged 20 quid for it.

i must have this asda basic sauce.

I always found it amazing when I was at Myrtle Beach, SC the Red Lobster parking lots were always FULL. SO lol. Hi I have fresh good seafood all around me, oh wait I'm going to to the Walmart of seafood.

i'd take a big fuck-off slab of fried cod at a pub over red lobster any day.

a florida red lobster could really be banging though. factor in proximity to water and amount of bluehairs that must be pleased, they probably run a well-oiled machine there. the landlocked red lobsters of the midwest are truly sad, glorified, expensive versions of long john silvers (fast food chain).

that being said, fuck me it looks like i'm going to have to find a long johns for lunch thanks to this thread.

Some of those Long John Silver type-places are getting into shit for claiming they use "lobster" when in fact they use langostino, which is not a fucking lobster at all.

Maybe I have some cultural bias because my family tree is fucking full of Mainers, but for chrissake, if it's not Homarus americanus don't fucking call it lobster, FUCK.
